Bar service was poor. Staff not very attentitive. Cleanliness / state of rooms not very clean. For the money paid and star rating of the hotel, would prefere another property next time

Staff was great. Property is old. Lot of noise due to repairs they were doing at property

The Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach has an impressive room service menu; it would be even better if they could have provided what we ordered. Just "not available" was the disappointing answer to the items we chose. Reception staff were helpful; Diego the front of house valet was the most exceptional member of staff we met. Super-helpful, kind with a wonderful demeanour. He is an asset to the hotel.

From the day we arrived we were not greeted warmly and the room we were given was filthy and had a horrifying smell. Everything from the safe, cupboards, fridge, wastebin and toilet tissue holder was faulty/broken. The bathroom dehumidifier was not working or on so the entire bathroom was mouldy. We asked for a new room and was small improvement. You have to ask and wait 2 hours for water or fresh towels which should be done during cleaning. To enter the bar we were rudely shouted at and handled to pay extra 2000 rupees (£20) just to sit inside despite us saying we were guests at the hotel. The location is convenient but not worth the insult and hassle. Better staying at sun and sand or marriot!

Great staff, clean hotel. Just needs some maintenence in the rooms with broken lights and broken tiles in the bathroom.
