Bathroom vent not working properly, not enough electric sockets in room, long mirror covering half of one of the sockets,

Pleasant stay
Posted 6 Jul 2024 on HotelsOlder style hotel and we had a pleasant stay. My husband has a CPAP machine and there were no power points by the bed and the staff were helpful and prompt in providing an extension lead for him. Lovely view from our room across the water

Disappointed.
Posted 15 Jun 2024 on HotelsWhat a disappointment. So many things let this hotel down. We had two rooms - both bathrooms had a REALLY foul smell, the window in my room didn’t open, the tv in one room didn’t work, and to use the kettle the tv had to be unplugged.
We were unable to get a restaurant booking so ate in the bar area instead. Service was appalling and one of the waiting staff was very ill-mannered. Not a nice experience.

Hi RuthI am so sorry to hear of your disappointment, as I had said when I met you on check out, if you had come to reception at the time, we would have been able to move you to one of our two bedroom apartment suites. We had no other comments regarding the smell, so it must have been confined to that area of the hotel and we would have moved you from that area. We had you booked in the Restaurant for a later time, as we had a large group in at the time you requested on check-in, however you decided to eat in the bar. We have brought all your comments to the maintenance/housekeeping/Food & Beverage Managers to address.
