"Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti. The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic. The food was ok, but variety was not good at all. The worst: This hotel is MUCH more expensive than they disclose...

"Couldn't find booking due to communication issues with head office so put in any available room which was cramped. Dinner had run out so did not eat properly. Breakfast was poor. Room was not clean and water was cold."

"Great time was spent at the Ikoma Bush Camp. Located just outside the Ikoma Gate, it was a great location to the Serengeti National Park. Staff were extremely kind and friendly- especially Paul and Agray. The food was delicious! I would recommend this Tented Camp to anyone looking for a place to stay with close proximity to the park!"

"The camp is right in the center of the Serengeti. The staff, from my guide and driver, who was very knowledgeable of the fauna and very attentive to my needs, to the entire staff,: kitchen, restaurant, guards, everybody was extremely nice and helpful. The camp itself is wonderful, clean well organized comfortable. the only thing one needs to be aware of is the unprofessionalism of the sales and marketing manager, who is money hungry and has no respect for the wishes of the client. Would not recommend

"We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. When we went to the front desk to request a portable fan were we told none were available. We ended up sitting outside the room until 1800. We went to have dinner at the restaurant and was advised the restroom was not completed. We had to return to our room if we wanted to use the restroom. Around 2000 we took a shower and got into the bed. There was a leak from the shower wall onto the bed. Our pillows were wet. This is new lodge with a number of flaws. First time I have written a negative review. Unfortunately would not recommend👎👎"
