"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! "I had a wonderful stay. This is not a resort! It’s a motel! It was super clean, but an older property that’s not been updated much. The staff were amazing! I’m American and don’t speak Japanese, but between google translate and the little English spoken at the front desk I felt safe. Mt one suggestion would be to give people (or leave in room) a pair of new slippers. The ones provided were very old, but clean (i did not use) for a budget trip this place was ok. "
