Exceptionnal site, great food and a full board menu including drinks. Game drives included with excellent guides and brand new Toyota Hilux. Don't miss it when staying in Kruger

Fantastic and completely unique hotel on a train. We stayed in a garden suite which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was fabulous. We had Nelly as our tour guide on the game drives and saw the big five. We will definitely be back

Would definitely recommend staying at Shalati - we stayed 4 nights and could have stayed longer. The accommodations were great, staff was amazing and the setting is truly unique and incredible.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! From the moment we checked in until the very last minute of our stay we were blown away by the uniqueness of this incredible experience! From watching crocodiles and hippos everyday to the pool area to the safari game drives with our amazing guide Lawrence we loved it all! Our carriage suite no.10 was right over the river and the views were breathtaking! Would return in a heartbeat! Thank you to all the staff at Shalati for making our stay so very special!

The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive; the food is ample and delicious; the rooms are stunning and luxurious; and the view of exotic animals interacting in the wild is extraordinary. One of our best trips ever. Staff is beyond accommodating. Went with a group of 5. Each morning and afternoon game drives are scheduled. Shout out to our guide Nelly!! He's beyond knowledgeable and knows all the patterns of the 'big 5'. He will also stop and explain fun facts about the animals, their patterns, etc. Most certainly the highlight of our trip.
The property is beautiful and we saw elephants, hippos, giraffes, and crocs from our train.
Service is top notch. The team remembers your preferences and the food was simply amazing.
Can't say enough good things about this resort.

Our stay at the Kruger Shalati was fabulous. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Our guide on our daily game drives was extremely knowledgeable and stayed out extra time when he knew animals were in the area. Our rooms were gorgeous and the train bridge is a unique experience we will never forget. I highly recommend the Kruger Shalati and hope we are lucky enough to come back for another visit!
