Spacious family room and very comfortable with character. Good location and we enjoyed the walk to the village tho very steep. Very relaxing and quiet. Only snag was not enough bowls/plates.

this is simple place, but comfy. Real France experiance in rurar setting. Very quite and safe. The room had miceowave which was very handy for us. close to the old town.

Loved Moustiers and our quiet stay.
Posted 26 May 2024 on HotelsPerfect for travellers seeking quiet and solitude, after busy days in town. Exactly as advertised and photographed. Only downside was Wifi, very weak signal likely because of the thick walls. Signal was better outside. Overall a charming and enjoyable stay. Host Marc was very helpful, his daughter is a 4* chef who runs Le Couvert restaurant in Moustiers - excellent meals there!

This is a farmhouse off the main track with plenty of parking and all the basic amenities. Check-in incolved a phone call which was difficult because of the language barrier but it all worked out.

Only takes cash - beware
Posted 5 Jun 2023 on HotelsRoom airy, peaceful and clean. A bit out of centre and lacked few basics - only 2 cups and no hairdryer.
Owner however insisted on us paying cash on day of leaving, driving us to cash point, which cost us slightly more than advertised due to bank charges.

En plus des deux tasses , sur le plateau se trouve des verres ainsi qu’assiettes et couverts sur l’étagère. Nous n’avons qu’une seule chambre et nous n’avons pas d’autres moyens d’encaissement. Le payement sur le site de notre hébergeur est possible au moment de la réservation. Nous espérons que votre séjour fut agréable malgré cela . À très bientôt à Moustiers.

The owner was not there. We were travelling form the US and could not get internet connection to contact the owner. We went by the property twice and no one answered the door (although someone was in the house as the car door and front door were open). This property should NOT be listed on Expedia but as a bed and breakfast as room was part of the house. The yard of the house was a mess and resembled a junk yard

Nous sommes effectivement une Chambre d’Hôtes et notre hébergeur, Expedia récence celles-ci .Nous sommes désolés que votre expérience n'aie pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes, notre terrasse est un peu en désordre en ce moment et ce à cause des nombreux orages qui nous empêche de faire un entretient régulier. Il y a une très bonne connexion gratuite dans le village. Nous espérons que votre séjour s'est quand même bien passé.

Under other circumstances, I might have enjoyed Le Blacas more. It would suit a family perhaps more accustomed to "gites" than I am. There was no hospitality, no one greeted me. I found my way to a largish room that could accommodate 4 people (3 beds, one a double). It was quite cold, and not until the morning did I discover the plu-in radiator in a corner. The bathroom windows were not covered, limiting my privacy, nor did the door to the room lock. Eventually a man came by to check in on me. Not a word was spoken, either in French or English. There is an ample yard with interesting objets d'art and a trampoline. The location is ideal, near Moustiers Ste. Marie, but very quiet. The place was clean, water temperature and pressure in the bathroom and shower were ok.

Bonjour , effectivement nous sommes une chambre d’hôtes et non un hôtel , nous ne sommes pas sur place toute la journée . Les clients nous appellent en arrivant , nous leur présentons la chambre , il est très rare que des clients entrent et s’installent seuls , ce que vous avez fait . La chambre peut convenir pour 4 personnes mais pour une ou deux , il y a du coup plus d’espace . Je suis désolé que vous n’ayez pas apprécié votre séjour mais je vous remercie de reconnaître que la partie bain était convenable . À bientôt à Moustiers .
