Loved it!
We had an amazing time in Bimbadeen. The owners treat their guests as family. The highlights were breakfast on the balcony and spotting a group of kangaroos next to the inn.

Friendly hosts, quiet and tranquil surrounds
Chris and Jo are friendly hosts, who make your stay as easy and as comfortable as possible. We enjoyed our 2 night stay, and enjoyed seeing a sweet little rock wallaby on the lawns in the morning of our departure. The house is a monument to hard work, (the stone work is incredible!) family bonds and happiness. Deliciously warm in the winter months with slow combustion heaters. The room we stayed in had a lovely view from the balcony down across the valley. Waking up to the melodies of the birds was also a treat. Thanks so much.
Gorgeous location, with breathtaking views. Lovely hostess. Amazing building and surrounds. Will visit again. Romantic and warm cottage. Incredibly built backyard. Secluded and very peaceful.
Excellent location and hosts. Definitely recommend
Very nice view in a cosy cabin that is only a 15-20 min drive from everything you want in hunter valley. There are kangaroos that visit the accommodation. Keep an eye out for Lenore and Skippy!
Just what we needed as a semi-retired couple to rest and refresh.Peaceful, quiet except for the wonderful bellbirds and kookaburras, surrounded by trees, glorious views, friendly hosts who were generous with their local knowledge.
First time to the Hunter Valley went up for a Day on the Green. We booked the cottage for two nights,we hit the jackpot. The cottage was spotless everything we needed. With the very comfy bed and room temp,no need for the air-conditioning slept great.Amazing view which we enjoyed morning and afternoon.Thank you Chris for our beautiful breakfasts which we had on the cottage veranda, and for helping to make this the most restful stay we can remember. Whether you stay in the house or the cottage you can not loose.
Beautiful, peaceful location overlooking the Hunter Valley. Close to Pokolbin wineries. Gorgeous, comfortable and homely interior. Kind and helpful staff. Would definitely return.
Had a wonderful 2 night stay up in the hills. Stayed in the cottage and was able to sit outside and watch the wallabies.Chris brought us breakfast each morning which was delicious. A short drive to town down a steep hill. Would definitely recommend.
My friend & I loved this private little getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the gem we had found - and at such a reasonable price.
The location was gorgeous, in a secluded spot, yet well positioned to easily explore the joys of the Hunter.
The country hospitality was clearly heartfelt & genuine. The owners were very proud of the effort they had made in creating their beautiful little bush haven. And fairly so.
Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view over the Hunter Valley from our balcony. While it was a little remote from most of the vineyards that we wished to visit, it was only a 5 minute drive down to Cessnock, which had a couple of very acceptable places for dinner. The owners were very hospitable.
Hostess was so helpful from the beginning View is breathtaking. Mum had the cottage and is the best option for privacy Breakfast was a feast for the eyes and everything was just so homely & all the little things were accounted for
