The staff is very friendly, especially in the breakfast room. The bedrooms were good, but the rooms facing the street could be noisy due to traffic over the cobblestone road. The mattress may be a bit soft, but aside from that, everything was great, and we had a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent, friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Very comfortable beds and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. It's a pretty easy walk from either train station to the hotel. The walk to the main entrance to the Pompeii ruins isn't bad at all.

We stayed at Hotel del sole for 3 nights. Hotel is directly opposite the Pompeii ruins, excellent restaurants and shops. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where staff were really helpful, food was amazing and service was excellent. Staff at the hotel could've do enough for us, so much effort put in to making our stay memorable. Room was clean and comfortable, cleaned every day. Staff at breakfast were so friendly and breakfast was fantastic! Breakfast room had a view over the ruins and vesuvious. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

It was my first time going to Pompeii and I booked this hotel for its proximity to the closest gate to the amphitheater. The hotel looked nice online but I didn’t know what to expect as I booked an economy room. It was amazing. I had a wonderful view off the balcony, the bed was super comfortable, the A/C worked amazing and the room was super cute. Also the breakfast was insanely good plus the breakfast area has views of Pompeii and Vesuvius. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a perfect day. I just arrived at my next hotel and had booked a premium room and I was sad to see it doesn’t even compare. Stay here if you can! You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel was lovely, welcoming, clean, plentiful breakfast, brilliant facilities. Would definitely recommend. Location was perfect for visiting Pompeii. Entrance was directly opposite and the view from the restaurant at breakfast gave you a glimpse of what to expect of the ruins

This was a great hotel close to one entrance to Pompeii and the bus to Vesuvius. The only negative is the breakfast options and facilities could be improved slightly but this is a minor point. Overall, fantastic.
