"Everything first class. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Appreciated our luggage being taken to and from our room. Standard room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed using the coffee machine and appreciated the excellent breakfast tea and china teapot. Lovely biscuits and complimentary gin too. Also liked the chocolates and handwritten postcard for my husband's birthday, a nice gesture. Made full use of the spa facilities the following morning namely the pool, jacuzzi and relaxation room. Would highly recommend a stay here."

"This was a bargain of a price, last minute night away and value for money was amazing. We used the spa facilities, the bar and restaurant and had great service all round. The hotel does look a bit tired in some areas but it was all very clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend x"

"Great stay, rooms are beautiful and the renovation in the rooms is really good! The hotel still has a lot of work going on but the rooms are clean, warm and very comfortable. The staff are friendly polite and the breakfast was great! The lady this morning was absolutely brilliant, caring and asked if we needed anything else. Breakfast was a great standard - well done team! One of the nicest hotel stays! "

"Stayed in room no1 and although I knew the bed was on another level I had not realised it was on another floor. With corkscrew stairs to get there. Not ones to use if you were drunk. I would recommend leaving your case down stairs as there is a wardrobe there and awkward carrying a case up those stairs. Loved the room though. "

"A one night stopoff to break up a long journey but we had an extremely comfortable stay and enjoyed using the lovely spa facilities. Friendly welcome on arrival, the room was comfortable and clean and the spa was beautifully kept and pristine. Amazing value for money, we’ll stay again. "
