It is not a recommendable hotel.

Posted 1 Mar 2020 on Hotels
This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel. The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not.

Superb experience

Pros: Everything. We also liked that they spoke Spanish to us, no english at all, as it really made you feel as if you were on holiday to relax.
Location: Very relaxing, would want to spend time in the garden, on the terrace and relaxing by the pool. Motril is good to go out for tapas.
Superb experience, gorgeous gardens, complete and utter relaxation.

It is not an hotel . It is a big house with rooms

Posted 11 Apr 2017
We were very suprized to find that this is a big house that has rooms . It is out of the city in a close area where it's difficult to arrive ( specially at night ). The guy opened the gate did not understand one word in English , at night when we arrived there was nothing to eat . I would not call this an hotel . More of a mendion with rooms to let and no facilities other than basic room with not even wifi .

Character property

An unusual get away which had charm and character as did the owner of this establishment who showed us around. Definitely would recommend a stay if you are looking to relax away from everything.

We booked into the hotel as we were attending the Summer Ball being held there on the evening. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to choose which room we wanted as they are individually decorated and the owner showed us around and gave us some history on the hotel. Breakfast was very relaxed and served on the terrace. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Great find

Posted 27 May 2010 on Hotels
This is a hotel set in wonderful gardens with great views to the sea and to the Sierra Nevadas. A very welcoming atmosphere by the owner that makes you feel at home. As a small hotel, 5 rooms, it may not have the full complement of services as other larger hotels but the locaiton and atmosphere more than make up for this. Thoroughly recommended.
