When you are ready for a change of scenery, walk or cycle west to the picturesque island of Jeløy (sometimes Jeløya) which houses half the city’s residents. Spend a while exploring the attractions of the canal that separates the island from the mainland. These include some of the city’s most interesting restaurants and stores as well as a beach. Watch the boats bobbing in Moss Marina, or charter a fishing boat and head out on a daytrip.
