When we arrived there they had over booked and did not have a room available for us. Although we booked 1 month in advance. Their general manager was not apologetic. Seemed like they had an event and they gave our rooms to some dignitaries.

When we arrived they did not have a room for us. Seemed like they had an event and they overbooked. Attitude of general manager was poor. Christina was nice.

We have 4 rooms booked 2 months ahead. Upon arrival after a long day of safari they said they did not have our booking. They actually had given away our rooms! We waited 2 hours to argue that we have a booking. We had very tired children falling asleep as it was 11pm now. Hotel then finally admitted we have booking and placed in snothe substandard hotel. It was a horrible experience. Never again. Do not recommend. They never offered us an apology or compensation. Not even a drink for the kids! Lied to us said we were sent an email about a change in reservation??? Horrible experience!

That’s a no for me

There were roaches in my room. The wooden door to the room had multiple holes in it that allowed bugs to enter the room. The mosquito net was dirty. The food was below average. They bar didn’t have all necessary ingredients to make the drinks on their cocktail menu and the restaurant didn’t have all things listed on the menu available. The staff however were very friendly and helpful.

Nice bar, restaurant and manicured grounds. Beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Pool was nice.

Nice hotel before climbing Kili

Pros: It wassail open and pretty cool, breakfast was nice and bar area was good too.
Cons: Wifi didn't reach our room but thats not too much of an issue.
Location: N/A
Just stayed here a night before the climb, it was very nice, I would recommend.

Was not as described on Expedia. Certainly not even close to being a luxury hotel. More like a rustic camping hotel. Also in the middle of nowhere - impossible to walk to anything. So very boring.

Front desk noted loudly we were expedia guests gave us a room next to noisy laundry and bar. Offered to change but not to a room with mountain view and extra bed as noted on our room reservation expedia print out. Mgr. lied and said no roooms had mountain views clearly untrue. Convenient lie because Hotel was full. Hotel should refund one of two nights for dishonesty and treating expedia guests as inferior. Below average stay nothing special housekeeping did not clean room or make bed for 2nd night even though make up room sign was left by us on exterior door knob.

Oasis just outside Moshi

Lovely place to stay when doing business in Moshi. Staff is helpful and food is quite good. Rooms are large. Bed was very firm, but ok. Gardens are beautiful.
