Location: the best place to stay if you want to visit Burg Eltz: it is a nice 30-40 minutes walk.
The staff is very German.
Make sure to arrive before 9pm -- they close the reception and don't answer the phone.

This hotel is definitely off the beaten path. Hotel room showed its age, but was clean. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast were very good. Great hiking to Burg Eltz directly from the hotel.

Great guest house.
Posted 8 Jun 2022 on HotelsThis guest house was amazing, great location, plenty of free parking. My double room and on-suit were to a very high standard. Friendly staff and good evening menu and pay for breakfast. I will use this hotel again, great value and overall 10/10. A really great place.
