"We visit Norfolk every New Year, and this was our first time staying in this building. The building itself is stunning and I had high hopes that our stay would be brilliant. I received clear communication in the run up to booking, but different checking in and out times to those on hotels.com!?! The checking in process was OK, although the key lock box was very difficult to open, and it took us about 30 minutes. "My husband and i booked an overnight stay for valentines day, we were greeted warmly by very friendly staff, the hotel itself was very inviting with beautiful decor and a relaxed vibe our dining experience was lovely amazing food served by a very sweet waitress followed by a delicious breakfast the next day. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything accessible for an overnight stay, we loved the little valentines touches added to our stay little heart chocolates on our pillows and beautiful red roses on the dining table for dinner followed by a fantasic jazz band playing throughout the evening. We would both highly recommend visiting this hotel it did not disappoint, we will certainly be visiting again soon."

Lovely place in a beautiful setting

"We would love to stay again, really enjoyed it. Room was comfortable, dinner & breakfast both relaxed and beautifully cooked. Dog freindly, so was great for us. The space is understandibly put aside mostly for diners with tables set up, but the bar area could really do with being larger and more comfy seating. Posh, obnoxious kids took over in the bar which was annoying, but that is not the establishments fault."
