I had reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival found out that there was only one room.

Funky older property with lots of charm. Friendly staff. Across the street from sea otters. Very small rooms. Dog-friendly.
I"ve stayed here before and will again.

Staff was great. Walking distance to the giant rock. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

The location was great and so was the price. However, the room was very small, the ceiling fan did not work, the bathroom sink would not drain right, the shower door would not latch without slamming, the coffee maker did not work. In addition, one of the lights over the bed blinked. When we reported these problems, we were told that had we reported the the previous evening, they would have given us another room. Since we only found out about most of these early the next morning, we could not since the office was closed until 9 AM.

A friendly Italian elder gentleman as reception. Have an old-school feeling of hotel check-in. Comfort and clean place

This is our favorite place to visit in Morro Bay -- we try to get there once or twice a year, and we've always had a great stay.
