Chill hotel with beach

Posted 7 Mar 2015 on Hotels
Great place if you are looking for a quiet get away. Hotel is right on the beach with a great shack for food and drinks. The only disadvantage is its location as a Morjim is slightly away from the more happening anjuna and baga.

Very unpleasant stay

Posted 14 Jan 2015
Pros: very close to the beach
Cons: service service and service and power problem
Location: This hotel is located on a very isolated location, we had to walk too far to get things like cookies/chips and the shop is on a very dirty filthy road
Close to the quite beach but the service was horrible we got at the front desk at around 4 pm and asked for our room, there was no manager at the duty at that time, the room was ready but some how staff wasn't ready to give us key. Staff keep calling some one most likely the manager on phone after 10 minutes of waiting they took us to our room, when we tried to turn on the air conditioner the remote wouldn't work we asked for new remote they changed the batteries and it was fine, but then power starts playing games the whole hotel power starts going in and out the the air conditioner stopped working, I called the front desk about this problem and they told me that in summer it's like that power will go in and out . Next morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast flies were flying all over one fly fell into my wife juice glass. we enjoyed the day at the beach when we entered our room around 5:30 pm tried to turn on the air conditioner same problem it will work for 2-3 min and next 5 min won't work because of power issues. Middle of the night my wife had to use the restroom and she find out that there is no water coming in the sink, she had to use the restroom 3 times wasn't able to flush twice she told me 7 am and I immediately contacted the front desk, some one came and started the pump and we had the water, but after 15 min there was no water it happened 3 times before they find out what is wrong. I will never recommend any one to stay here WORST hotel of my life

Very Good Experience

Posted 11 Oct 2014
Pros: They are what they show on the travel websites. That means they don't promise something which they can't deliver.
Location: Nearest beaches are Arambol,Ashwem,Meems and etc. Back downwards Anjuna,Vagator, Baga and Calangute fall in line. Aguada Fort and Light House are good
Friends, This is the 1st Hotel which has exactly same accommodation shown in the Pictures. It is a bit interior in Morjim but Privacy Guaranteed and Morjim Beach is Bang On just 2 Minutes walk from the Cottages. Kremlin the Cafeteria serves very delicious food at affordable price. As you may be aware Food in Goa is costly cos Agriculture isn't practiced in large scale. Most of the Day to Day needs of Goa are met by Belgaum and Ratnagiri Districts which share the border with Goa. Hotel provides Free Breakfast, Free Wi-Fi with very good service. Its a bit far from Dabolim Airport (Around 52 Kms). So hiring a bike or a car (Self-Driven) may be suitable to explore Goa.We enjoyed every moment spent in this hotel. Very Few Restaurants nearby as Morjim is a small village but Bars and Wine Shops are available within 10-25 Minutes drive. They don't accept card payments as they deal only in cash. Please ensure you carry cash with you always, though HDFC ATM is around 15 Mins and SBI around 25 Mins drive by vehicle. Rest Hotel is awesome, Food is really good, Service is also good, Privacy and Beach is also clean though no shacks. Its good for people who want privacy and wish to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Goa. If you're expecting Luxury then please Taj Vivanta,The Leela,The Zuri White Sands Goa Resort & Casino,The Tamarind Hotel, Ramada Caravela Beach Resort,Whispering Palms Beach Resort,MAYFAIR Hideaway Spa Resort are some Expensive hotels who may fulfil your wishes for a cost.

Ok place

Posted 5 Oct 2014
Pros: Authentic Goa food. Two room cottages are OK. Single rooms are no good.
Cons: These small establishments can not do much to improve. All such establishments should be bought by big investors and make one good sea facing resorts
Location: The see shoar is as usual unclean in India. No white sand at all.
Ok experience - nothing to boast about. The rooms are good but away from restaurent no room service.

Calm and serene beach property

Posted 27 May 2014
We stayed in this property for 5 nights from 19th may 2014 to 24th may 2014. Morjim hermitage provides a calm and soothing effect on body and mind with its location which is very close to the beach. Very good for some one looking out for relaxation as there is nothing else to disturb you except an occasional scooter rider or local passing through the property. Beach is very close and good for sun sand and swimming all day long. Food served is good and tasty. Bar counter is also adequate. Few negatives if at all are lack of wash and change room near to beach and the location itself. Google maps wasn't accurate and one has to use intuition and ask the locals to find property as road leading to property is narrow and unpaved. Staff and Mr. Albert and his wife are all ways there to help you and its reassuring.
