Check in was awful. Couldnt tell if guy at desk was really tired or just stoned! I asked for the manager after two VERY unprofessional responses and I was told he had gone home for the day. No response regarding manager information.

We were there due to hurricane Helene. The sheets were very dingy and the room was musty. It was convenient at a very troubling time.

The front of this property and the back of the property are totally different. When I arrived they put me in the back of the hotel. There were like 20 guys outside by my door yelling and hollering. Music blaring so loud that the pictures on the walls were shaking. This was all night long. Then cars will pull in honk twice be there a few minutes then leave all night. The next morning I asked front desk about it and they pretended to know nothing about it. Asked to at least be moved to the front of the hotel and closer to the office which they did do. It was still loud but more muffled because it was all happening in the back. Still never felt safe there. I would barricade my door with the table and a crate I travel with and would never ever leave my room at night. If you are traveling alone, want quiet and want to feel safe this is not the hotel for you. I have stayed with Baymont properties all the time traveling and it has always been a great hotel. Now however, it is horrible I do not recommend it at all.

I could not open the door when attempting to leave. Deadbolt was stuck. Called front desk. Assistant came. Around 10 minutes after pushing against it.assistant using his key, it finally released. In addition, breakfast was terrible. Refrigerated scrambled eggs. Thick toast, muffins, coffee, orange & apple juice was the entire menu.

Why would you charge a 100 dollar deposit and not tell no one before the room is booked then when checking in the deposit is charged to your card before your informed of the charge this is crazy and most other hotels only charge 50 dollars but they tell you before the charge is made also the hotel advertised free hot breakfast there was nothing hot about a cup cake
