"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"I love that the apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and had so many amenities. It is close to a supermarket and the beach. I was able to cook my own meal at times and even do laundry if I wanted to do so.The location is quiet/peaceful. I felt so at home. Hopefully next time I will be able to watch local TV. "

"I liked the secluded location and the big airy and clean room. I did not like the general upkeep of the building and the grounds. Also, there was no hot water, but that did not really bother me since I prefer to bath in cold water. For heaven's sake, why are you serving instant coffee with breakfast. The bloody motel is located where Blue Mountain Coffee is produced. Buy a coffee machine."

"Host was helpful and kind. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable, affording a good night's sleep. Fixtures well constructed. While accommodations were simple, it was what I was expecting. Air conditioner in good working order. The area around the guesthouse is uneven pavement and gravel, with some buildings in various states of construction or addition - nothing unsafe, but it could be perceived differently. "What an amazing place! We absolutely loved our long weekend at Great Huts, so much so that we just hung out enjoying the beautiful lush jungle property and adjacent Boston Beach rather than venturing forth to see other sights in the area. This is not for you if you need luxury and a/c, but don’t hesitate if you love nature and being in the great outdoors, quirky artistic hut accommodation, good food and wonderful friendly staff. We especially loved the constant sound of the crashing waves that came with our fabulous Fig Tree hut. Thank you Roberta and everyone else at Great Huts for a truly unique experience."

"I wanted to stay at a quiet bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting where I could read and relax. The Polish Princess Guest House exceeded my expectations. I requested meals that were vegetarian and gluten-free. Miss Barbara served a delicious breakfast each morning and the meal presentation was beautiful. The setting was so nice. The guest house is surrounded by nature and the building and grounds were well maintained. Miss Barbara was a wonderful host. My 5-night stay was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. "
