"The shower holders run down and came off. Unable to adjust shower height. A visitors dog was barking the entire time! So many dogs I felt it was a kennel. Had to pay for tap water during dinner. The hotel has been around for many years - still in good condition but time for renovations. Clearer signs of off limit areas for children.!!! Service was great. Friendly and helpful staff."

"What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. "Very nice hotel for the money, clean comfy room, friendly staff, natural mineral water from a local spa, fantastic breakfast. The spa, saunas etc are also clean, a free chocolate bar upon leaving, I was very impressed and will return for a longer stay next time I take my motorbike to the alps"

"The hotel is in a lovely spot. We booked a room with the mountain view but enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake while eating a delicious breakfast. You could describe the room as modern classy, comfortable bed, nice lighting gadgets and a spacious shower. The staff was incredibly friendly during our check in and check out. We even got a small gift for our departure. While we did not use it, there is also a Tesla destination charger. Overall, highly recommend the hotel! "

"Hotel City is ideal for a short or extended stay in Villach. Courteous and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. A great breakfast is included in price. Location couldn’t be better-across square from railway station, beside bus terminal and convenient to centre of town which is only a few minutes stroll. Highly recommended "

"Fabulous centrally-located hotel that served us well as a family during a rail trip across mainland Europe. Great breakfast buffet too. Only snag was that we were given a wrong room on check in but this was immediately resolved. "

"COOEE Bad Kleinkirchheim is an exceptional place to stay with children. The staff are brilliant and the food is tasty, varied and exceptional value. We loved the adjoining-rooms and balconies giving us plenty of space. Carinthia is a a brilliant place for a family summer holiday and Bad Kleinkirchheim is the perfect base from which to explore. The Kärnten Card can be bought at the hotel and is a must-have for families. My children said “You have to give it 4 stars. Everything there is great. The kind people who work there, the beds, the scenery. Everything is amazing!”"

Area is gorgeous, but the accommodation is poor

"The apartment has poor accommodation, meaning the whole furniture is old and the impression is of an old place, no recondition was done, is like you live in the ‘80. The walls are dirty and the kitchen area is almost missing (extremely small and did not look very clean).The area is spectacular but all the apartment need to be refurnished or just change the pictures on the site (they do not look at all like in the advertisements) and adjust the price of the room, probably you pay the area and not the room itself."
