There were maybe one or two bad apples at the resort with bad attitude but we just learned to avoid them. One thing that could be better is an update to the menu. "When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!"

"Kaveka is lovely. This is by far the best of 3 hotels/resorts we stayed at while in Tahiti. Our bungalo was steps away from the water where we could watch fish swim around the reef or look up at the dramatic tropical mountain landscape near us. When it rained, we relaxed under the covered patio enjoying the views of rain without actually being wet. Kaveka is a great deal compared to other resorts, especially if you want a more quiet and intimate vacation. You can swim around some reefs right at the hotel which is very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. There are some friendly hotel cats and dogs that wander around the property during the day. And the staff is nice and helpful. We can't wait to come back. I'm hoping to bring the whole extended family one of these days :D "
