"Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high)."

The property features a beautiful pool, ideal for relaxing under the sun. Breakfast was exquisite – authentically French with a few delightful surprises. Our room was stunning: spacious, immaculately clean, and decorated with regal charm. Staying here is an unforgettable experience – one you will never regret. "If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"

"Superb period property retaining a lot of original features, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Freindly staff, on site restaurant serving incredible food. Parking off site but secure, 5 minutes walk to the centre of the town where there are numerous places to dine. An excellent location and place to stay."

"We had two rooms, each with a sleeping area, nicely-furnished sitting area, and large bathroom--all this for an unbelievable reasonable rate. The dining room is beautiful. The breakfast, was outstanding and reasonably priced. We did not have dinner here. The front desk staff and dining room staff were extraordinarily helpful and capable."
