This is the most beautiful and inviting bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed in. It was the perfect place for our 25th wedding anniversary. The artwork and decor is stunning. The hosts are personable, down to earth and provided great suggestions on what to see and where to eat in the area. Hudson is only a 45 minute drive from Old Montreal and it’s worth the drive to stay at this property if you’re wanting to visit the city.

Cozy, well maintained property. Room was tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Easy check-in and able to let ourselves in when returning in the evening. Our room had a lovely deck which we would have enjoyed if the weather had cooperated. Only criticism would be that the room was very tight and the queen size bed was right up against the compact washroom.

The Maison Rose is an outstanding piece of intricately detailed professional design ingenuity replete with carefully selected antiques, art work and decoration pieces at every turn. The facility is clearly the result of someone's labor of love. Every room. every corner, every hallway ... is rife with interesting artifacts, paintings and visual surprises. This is a skillfully created piece of design art presented in a methodically executed, high quality, bare-bones renovation of a local historical building. Phenomenal!

It's a really adorable boutique hotel with custom one on one attention. I enjoyed the sweet touches like incense in the common areas first thing in the morning, the writeups on much of the artwork on the walls, the gardens and cozy porch. A charming hotel in a charming town. Looking for an original stay, this is it.

As you should be aware, I attempted to cancel my reservation the day before due to a health emergency. However neither Expedia nor the property were able to assist with my concern. I am therefore out $250 and wasted several hours of my time trying to resolve this matter. Should you wish to offer any compensatory assistance, I would appreciate it; Otherwise I will no longer use Expedia or recommend it or this property to any of my friends or business associates.
