My 11 year old son and I stayed here over American Thanksgiving for 4 days. The attentiveness and kindness of the staff really stands out. They went above and beyond to accommodate every request. For example, the kids’ menu was missing from the QR code’s menus, so they read it to me over the phone when I called room service. There were two things that weren’t unbearable but could be improved. First, the restaurant and room service menus were essentially identical which wasn’t ideal, but there are so many dining and take out options in walking distance it’s not the end of the world. Also, the rooms are incredibly dated design wise and are sort of shabby - it was obvious everything white had about 5 coats of paint on it, and there are still phones by the toilet, so it’s been quite awhile since they’ve done a proper renovation. However, the hotel itself is very nice and in a perfect location to explore the city, so if you’re not planning to spend a lot of time in the room it’s a great choice.

We stayed on the 13th floor (I thought that wasn't a thing?!). Anyway, the room was nice enough...basic for luxury. The ice maker did not work on the floor so needed to go to another floor, annoying but little deal. The bathroom left a LOT desired. Who really uses those tubs?? A bigger shower would have been great. The towels were not soft and absorbent and the toilet paper was the cheap scratchy stuff. Again, luxury?? The mini fridge was barely cool and turned all the way up. The TV, don't even get me started. Why not Smart TV's?? Casting from our phones from our apps is so archaic. The bed was decent. Only complaint was the edges of the mattress is very hard and almost hurts when sitting off the end of the bed. So much to be desired but was only one night. We also came from our favorite place the 2 nights before so...

However, rest assured that it’s a standard floor in our property.Ice maker & mini fridge: I’m sorry to hear the ice maker on your floor wasn’t working. That definitely shouldn’t have been an inconvenience for you. I’ll make sure the issue is looked into, and I’ll also pass along your feedback on the mini-bar not cooling properly. Also, it should be noted that our mini-bars are meant for beverages, and therefore are not as cooling as a fridge.Bathroom & towels: I understand your frustration regarding the bathroom setup. We do offer bathtubs in many of our rooms, we are going into renovations next year, we will definitely look into your suggestion about providing more spacious showers. We also take note of your feedback on the towels and toilet paper, as we strive to provide premium comfort and amenities.TV & technology: I hear you loud and clear regarding the lack of Smart TVs. It’s something we’ve been looking into for upgrades, and your input is valuable as we continue to improve our in-room technology.Mattress: I'm sorry the edges of the mattress were uncomfortable.
