Please note that there is no dresser or bureau to put your clothes when taken out of the suit case. Fortunately, I had 2 twin beds and the unused bed became my "clothing staging area."

Value for money hotel that could do with a refurb

The staff were great and very helpful. The location is undistinguished but practical for our needs. The hotel itself could do with a refresh - while it was clean, of course, the carpet in our room had stains and the TV was temperamental.

Don’t be put off!!

Great place to stay for short visit. 10 min walk to Odysseum shopping center including Ikea/restaurants/amusements etc and where you can take a 15 min tram ride into the heart of Montpellier. This was our 2nd visit and review would have been marked higher for our 4 night stay except for the following; on the 2nd night of our stay, the air condition unit dripped water down wall onto light switch and floor - not conducive to good nights sleep so ultimately could not use unit when needed. To be fair - staff were notified but could not get technician out due to it being the weekend. We were proffered a room exchange which was possibly on the 2nd or 3rd floor, however, not practical due to personal disability so had to decline. Secondly, could not close entrance door to room unless slamming shut. Withstanding the above, we would still recommend the hotel for short stays as it is reasonably priced with great access into Montpellier center. If booking, do ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor if possible.
