"Quiet hotel situated in a very peaceful environment. Check in was relatively fast and efficient. We were taken to our room by the receptionist. Our room was situated on the first floor and was well designed and decorated. After a long trip we had a quick swim at the swimming pool and enjoyed it. Coming back to the room we were intrigued by the way the towels were displayed in the bathroom and we thought well that is perhaps the way they do it. "Great for a short stay, pool area is very good and the room was spacious. Food was hit and miss in the restaurant had a steak and couldn’t cut it without shaking the bottle of water off the table, I did mention this to the staff as couldn’t eat it and they just shrugged and walked away. Hotel is in a great location for the chambord castle."
