The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. "The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. "Just stayed for one night as travelling from UK to the Alps and used this as a stop. Hotel is in a great position to just walk to local amenities. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Although parking is not in the hotel itself, there is a good public car park literally 20 yards from the entrance to the hotel. Parking overnight is free from 1900-0800 and a couple of hours either side was only about 3 euros so inexpensive. "
