Loved the property and being in nature. Close to center of Santa Elena if you have a car, otherwise it’s a 20-min or so walk and you have to go up and down an incline. So it’s not super convenient into the center by foot. But taxis cost $5 to and from the center and shuttles are $4 one-way to National parks. The surroundings here are very peaceful and beautiful and you’ll see lots of birds, butterflies, and other animals!

Excellent breakfast, very nice staff, comfortable beds, beautiful property and you can see butterflies and birds while you eat! Also surprisingly high quality beauty products and overall eco-friendly place. Great deal of a hotel! Not fancy but very cozy and felt like home. Loved it

Cala Lodge is in a beautiful natural setting, relatively quiet but within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The lodge has a helpful staff, high sustainability ratings (Blue Flag and Green Leaf) and contributes to the local community. Excellent breakfast included in rates. Some of the smaller rooms are less comfortable, but all are clean and well provisioned. We will definitely come back.

Tucked away property with beautiful views and small trails around their property. We saw birds and wildlife. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was small and simple but clean.

I thinktthat yhis hotel is better in person and the photos don't do it justice. I highly recommend staying here, I'd definitely come back.
