Awful not as advertised

When we arrived there was no signs or direction on checking in or parking. The location was not on a vineyard it was where they make the wine. The entire area smelled like cat urine. There were no amenities no tv no a/c , nothing to do in the area at all.
The kitchen counter was full of little ants and the bed and mattress was old. The shower was not even hooked up. It was definitely not as advertised. It was so bad we left , lost money , but found another hotel to stay at.

Dear Shawn, we can understand that our place doesn't respect your tastes but it's unacceptable to calling us liars. We rent exactly what you can see on the photos and what you can read about. The truth is that you haven't read anything before your stay. At the time of check in you received the message with instruction how to reach your apartment. At the moment of the booking you received all information that can be usefull for you stay (advice to have a car, distance from other famous cities, supermarkets, buses, what to do in the area, etc.). We do not have the AC and the TV and is not a secret. The vineyard is exactly a few steps form our agriturismo and cellers (you could ask :) And yes, it is possible to find some ants in the middle of countryside, eaven if the kitchen is very clean. Instated of asking for information you left with no words.

Besonderer Ort, wunderschönes Appartement in einer tollen Umgebung! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen- eine tolle Auswahl an lokaler Speisen nach dem Motto so viel wie möglich, so wenig wie möglich. Aber wenn man etwas benötigt, kann man jederzeit danach fragen. In einer Welt wo alles im Überfluss vorhanden ist, finde ich das sehr gut! Auch die Weintour ist zu empfehlen.
