"The property is very charming. While mainly an event venue, as a one or more days stay it is a real value. A similar hotel would have been about 50% more. It is close to old town Salinas and the Steinbeck center, as well as a half hour from Monterey. Very quiet and lovely grounds. "

"Staff was very friendly. I got a room upgrade but did not get the double bed book that I booked, but they upgraded the room to a balcony room was very clean and neat. I will book again there. I just hope I get the reservation. I booked this time."
