My flights to Jamaica were cancelled due to snowstorms 1 day before my departure. The flight schedule would have gotten me to Jamaica a minimum of 30 hours later (once airports reopened). The hotel wouldn't acknowledge that I had no ability to get to the property for my first night (or maybe my 2nd night). I contacted their staff mote than 24 hours in advance of my check in Secrets requires 48 hours notice. That deadline was 24 hours before snowstorms even threatened my state. I understand that they can't always rebook rooms, but a partial refund could have kept a longtime customer.
IF YOU BOOK WITH THIS CHAIN BE SURE YOU BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE TO GET SOME OF YOUR MONEY BACK!
The property also had a staff walkout 2-days after I was in touch with their front desk. This also compromised their food and bell services for a day or two. I don't know if the property compensated guests for closing some restaurants or the lack of housekeeping and bell service. Other hotel chains in Jamaica had also had similar strikes over the past few weeks, so Secrets wasn't alone. But it seems both its staff and guests of this former AMResort had suffered under new management policies.

Beautiful resort and the staff was very nice. Staff had activities if you wanted to participate or quite areas if you preferred not to. Remone our cabana attendant was great. Restaurants were also great. Highly recommended.

It was quiet - love that. The place was relaxing. The staff were very very very pleasant, helpful, and very fun to be around. We were upgraded to Breathless from Secrets, and it did NOT disappoint. If you do not want to leave the property, you really do not have to. I plan to go back, and this time, I am hoping to get the top package! From my thoughts, to my fingers, straight to the Lord's ears/ears 💕💖💛❤️

The property was clean and well kept.The food options were excellent. Despite all the good things going for this resort, i must say my experience was negatively impacted by the fact that i was constantly given subpar service especially by the servers, maybe because they realized i was Jamaican they were reluctant to offer me the same courtesy i witness them giving to other non Jamaican guests. I get it, but its unacceptable as on my multiple trips back to Jamaica staying at different hotels this has been the worst service by far. Again nice property but ill be choosing a different hotel on my next visit, i am not spending my money to be treated as a second class citizen especially in my home country.

The staff was wonderful. The property was clean and there were a lot of activities. My stay was 10/30/24-11/3/24

Nice property. But for it to be secerts and an all inclusive the service was pretty poor. The staff was more worried about tips than actual service ( and I was leaving good tips). If you’re young and want a nice party or entertainment vibe this is not the place. There was little pool entertainment and the main bar closes at 10pm. The check in and check out process was painful as it consists of 3 tables, so if your checking in you might be delayed because someone is checking out.
