Medieval town, pretty hotel

Posted 15 Jan 2024 on Hotels
Beautiful hotel but a little hard to find and deal with. Probably better for Italians than Americans. Wonderful breakfast and comfortable room. We could not locate the parking and the lady seemed shocked that we had a car. The car got stuck in more than one alleyway while attempting to find the hotel, so hopefully if you go, you have a very small car.

Good morning! Thanks for your review. We are happy that you had a good time with us. We have many American guests. The Lady was not shocked, it is normal to have a car in Italy, even a large one. We all have one. The town is small like many in Italy, it is our beautiful characteristic. Parking is free, not paid, which is difficult to find in medieval towns. You can park in the main square which is 100 meters away on foot. Thank you for your visit.

Has to be experienced

This is a gem of a family run hotel in a gorgeous medieval village nested on a hill. You will enjoy a curated home made breakfast with all sorts of home baked goodies and even home made jams!

This place is amazing. The view from the terrace where you can have breakfast is breathtaking and relaxing. Breakfast is all home made to high standards and makes you feel genuinely pampered. The owners are understated, discrete and helpful. Top!

A lovely place, very clean with charming hosts, and a spectacular view from the terrace. Excellent bed linen and a very comfortable bed. Just a bit disappointing I didn't have a view from my room.

Pros: Eighteen inch thick eleventh century walls.
Cons: Confusing streets.
Location: Top of a very steep hill.
A view out of a fairytale. Cobblestone streets with some steep slopes. Wonderful people, speaking only Italian,of which we spoke none.

Good morning Mr Kevin! Thanks for Your positive memory in our home . Yes! Montecosaro is very nice but small , only 550 people live in the historic center, but fortunately we have everything : supermarket , museum of cinema , theater , tobacco shop , hairdressers salon , bar, playground , pizzeria , restaurant , a dressmaker and a little clothing store. The town more near is Civitanova Marche in about 10 minutes with a car. I hope You will want visit our HOUSE for Your next relax holiday. Thanks a lot. Regards Erika Bartolini
