"This charming, perfectly located hotel has well appointed rooms, a lovely, caring staff and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Located on Via Fillunga, you are in the heart of Lucca. Dolce Marta and Dolce Ingrid are a delight - helpful, kind, fun and both speak excellent English. I loved staying at this wonderful hotel."

"Overall is a nice stay with few points that are lacking that affects the comfort of staying there. 1. Heating is turned off around 11pm thus you will feel cold if you are not asleep by then. 2. Hotwater not consistent, the water might turn cold for a moment when you are showering. 3. Parking is in public carpark outside the compound thus you will need to walk in the cold to the house although there are ample space to park in the compound. They do allow you to drive yr car into the compound for...

"Amazing "

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

"A little past it's glorious heyday but decent all the same. We had a decent sized room, it was a family room. Parking difficult, due to most of Pisa being closed to traffic at night, unless you pay 25 euros for the private garage when I think you have an exemption to drive to the hotel. Heating system seemed to be stuck on heat in our room and also my sister's room! Comfortable beds (our bed was HUGE!), nice towels, decent pillows. Lacking in electrical sockets. "Hotel Ilaria is a lovely hotel in the cute town of Lucca. It is quiet, clean and comfortable with a perfect location for exploring the town. Breakfast was delicious with lots of healthy options in addition to typical Italian pastries. The evening complimentary happy hour was wonderful. I met some lovely fellow travelers and had a great time. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The young man at the front desk was extremely kind and welcoming. He helped me purchase tickets to an evening of opera as part of the Puccini festival. It was wonderful. This one staff member (apologies that I didn’t write down his name) made my stay extra special with his kindness. And he looked great in the green hotel uniform suit (as did the young woman too). Thank you for making me feel that hotel Ilaria in Lucca was my home away from home. "

"Great value for a hotel! Slightly out of the city centre but very walkable distance. The room had enough space for two people, the bathroom facilities were perfect for what we needed, with a well functioning shower and plenty of towels. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We didn’t have the breakfast but to have had the option for an included breakfast is even better value! Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. "
