The service was excellent.
The property is well maintained
Convenient location (if you can climb steps)
Excellent breakfast
It is a big hotel. There are many people in the breakfast room and lobby. However it is so well run that you felt like the hotel is much smaller.

They took care of my wife and I exceptionally well. Service was world class.

Great location and valet staff are so kind and helpful. This is my third time here so I have experienced the Fairmont at various times. This time was different due to down season but also that the property is undergoing construction making it non inviting, closed areas such as the lounge for the view and or a night cap. Typically this property is a five star however, this time it would be rated more of a number three and was disappointed to find that if you wanted a cocktail, only you had to sit in a designated area on the seventh floor, which did not provide the best views which I felt like due to the lounge being closed, you should have access to wherever you would like for a nightcap or cappuccino, which is what we were enjoying.
On a few occasions the concierge desk was non attended and there were no easy signs directing you for assistance. However, the Fairmont staff truly are the most hospitable, friendly and care about you as a guest.
