After Labor Day there price drops drastically and the woman that runs the place is such a nice person I like staying here ❤️

Every unit should have a coffee pot and a microwave. They are inexpensive. Beds are very uncomfortable and did not sleep well, neither myself or my husband. Expedia.com did not give good description of choice of rooms and did not list all of them.

Ice is an amenity for all lodging facilities, especially in the summer.do if you have a full knee replacement surgery recent to your stay, tough luck. Refrigerators were un-plugged & took a full 24 hours to cool down. So, either way you couldn’t enjoy a cold drink until then. Complimentary soaps were a joke, couldn’t get even a dime sized amount to wash your hair. Location is far from any beach in Montauk; definitely not walkable. Rooms were very clean. Overall, even for the price you pay Harborside Motel it most definitely not worth it.

I am so sorry that this guest did not think it prudent to express her concerns while she was still at the motel, most of her concerns would have been taken care of immediately. We do provide complementary ice to our guests, it is unfortunate that the machine broke down the same day the guest arrived. The part had to be ordered so it was beyond our control. The guest was notified on arrival that the machine was down. A sign indicating this is posted at check in, Just as the guest made a request and was supplied extra shampoo, a simple request to the housekeeper for extra soap would have been immediately fulfilled. It is unfortunate that this guest choose to use this forum to complain about issues that could have been dealt with. Thank you for complementing our housekeeping staff in providing a clean room. We will pass on your kind comment to our staff.

The property was clean. Not fancy, but location was excellent. Walk to the harbor and many restaurants.

Clean no frills stay

No heat in the room when it is raining and cool outside.

We're sorry you had no heat, but all you had to do was let us know in the office that you needed heat, and the heat would have been turned on. Since we we are in a transition time with the weather, and the humidity with the rain, there are guests who still require A/C. We cannot pre determine who that will be, so all the A/C's are on. I am sorry you had to wait to use this forum to express your dissatisfaction when all that was needed was a request at the office. The office is open from 10am to 10pm daily so someone was available to assist you. We hope that apart from your lack of heat, we were able to meet you other needs.
