It's just a beautifully situated place. That was enough for us. And the on-site Enoteca restaurant was superb. Oh, and the eclectic design choices are a hoot.

Lovely building that looks stunning from the outside.
However when you get inside the bedroom they do not keep in with the same period. It looks like someone has popped to IKEA and purchased a lot of modern furniture.
The breakfast was good. The gym was quite tired, the pool, sauna and hot tub seemed to be ok.

Horrible experience from begining to the end. I know its an old castle,but was not expecting a medieval experience.
The staff barelly speaks any english and does little to help
The rooms where full of bugs, the staff sugestion : turn the lights of so the bugs go to sleep,or we were given a tall broom to do it ourselfs.
During the day the rooms where too hot, the AC wasnt working. Staff says its because its winter already. During the night the rooms were freezing cold, the staff saya they cant do anything.
Breakfast had a couple savory options,if you want salmonella. The eggs sit there from begining to the end of the breakfast service.
Tvs in the suite dont work, the only solution provided was new batteries to the remote.
Tried to speak to management for 3 days straight but somehow he was always on meetings. Still waiting for the promised call back.
