"The hotel staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Our room was an "outside" room meaning it was not within the perimeter of the main hotel. Bed was very comfortable. On street parking availability was very challenging. To access the pool you have to pay an additional 20 euro per person which was a bit of a surprise."

However, upon check in, we were charged for 2 nights, despite said approval. There was no reasoning with the manager, she insisted that we had no right for a refund because I had said we would leave in the evening, even though we left in the morning, and despite teh fact she had previously approved the booking...

"We arrived after the front desk was closed - not knowing that we would be unable to get in as no one contacted us with the entry code. Luckily we were able to call and speak with someone who gave use directions on getting the key for our room. The room was fine at a glance but did have some problems. The handle of the faucet in the shower was broken, and the shower head wouldn't stay in place, meaning we had to use the showered as a handheld piece. We also didn't have any lights in the upstairs...
