We really liked the room and the aesthetic of Chateau Beauvallon. The night staff were very friendly and helpful upon check-in. Everything was smooth for the most part. The only downside was I forgot my shoes in the closet after we departed the hotel. We called the front desk numerous times only for the same staff member to keep hanging up on us and transferring us to a voicemail because we asked for someone who spoke English to try and help us ensure the boots were still there as we drove back. He was really rude and dismissive after 7 phone calls. It was really disappointing. I hope staff can appreciate tourists are not all French and still try to be kind and helpful to English speakers in the future.

As a loyal customer who has stayed at this hotel every year for my birthday, I’ve always had great experiences in the past. However, this recent stay has left me extremely disappointed. After checkout, I was charged $29 for a missing bottle of body wash. The hotel claims their housekeeping team saw it was missing and assures me it wasn’t moved to the kitchen, but there’s no evidence provided to back up this claim. What’s even more frustrating is that the hotel didn’t even consider the possibility that the housekeeping staff might have accidentally disposed of the item. To clarify, I moved the body wash to the kitchen because there was no handwash provided there, but I never took it or removed it from the hotel. I wasn’t notified about this issue until the next day. They could have given me a call when they cleaned the room. The hotel also asked me to return the “missing” body wash to receive a refund, even though I never took it in the first place. As a customer, I should not have to repeatedly explain myself for something I didn’t do. The way this situation has been handled is highly unprofessional and deeply disappointing. As part of the check-in process, guests are required to sign an agreement outlining the hotel’s policies regarding charges for any missing items. This agreement states that guests may be charged for any missing items reported by the housekeeping team. Even without any proof, just based on “seeing”

Returning customer and didn’t disappoint. This is a great hotel for families because the rooms are spacious and if you are going to the village the shuttle is amazing no need to use your car when you stay at this hotel because of the free shuttle service. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars for the property is because they have now closed the indoor pool which sucks because it was a great addition for kids in the winter. Really amazing restaurants and coffee shops not in the village about 13 min drive away that you can check out instead of paying village prices. 83 Nord amazing coffee shop and small grocery store and an amazing Italian restaurant called Le Vieux Fort
