This hotel is on the outskirts of town. Though less than 2 miles from the centre it costs €15 by taxi to get into town. It is also extremely close to a French Air Force base. The night I stayed there, the jets were still flying and landing up until midnight. No chance of sleep. The air conditioning did not work either.

Bonjour,pour le taxi oui c est entre 10 et 15 euros pour se rendre à la gare; effectivement nous avons la plus grande base aérienne de France la BA 118 connue pour ses Rafales

Typical Campanile
Posted 16 May 2024 on HotelsIt was pretty much what you expect from a Campanir. Decent size room, comfy bed and a basic shower room. Overall ok and clean.
I usually book Campanile for one night stays because the have decent restaurants which is great after a longish drive. This one did have a restaurant, I had checked in the description, but it doesn't open at weekends! This is not stated anywhere in the booking process. As it's a long way out of town this meant another drive to find food. Mont de Marsan has very little choice in restaurants, at least we couldn't find many so ended up with a picnic in the room. It's not worth going out of your way for, and the town was nothing to write home about.
You also only get 2 sachets of coffee and they don't have a stock of it in reception so if you don't book breakfast getting a hot drink in the morning is a mission.

Nice stay, quiet, clean, comfortable
Posted 3 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe enjoyed our one-night stay here, as we were in transit across France. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with my feeble attempts to speak French! The room was adequate, fairly spacious with good storage for luggage. The bathroom was dated but clean. Towels were fluffy and smelled good 👍 The bed was kind of firm but still comfortable. Just 1 pillow per person but comfortable. TV and internet worked fine.
Breakfast was good, lovely croissants. We also had dinner in the restaurant. Pasta bolognese was delicious. The fish fillet was also very good, the only problem was it was listed on the menu as being served with haricots vert but it was not. The chocolate eclair was delicious!
Overall a good stay and would recommend it. There are no tourist attractions within walking distance, so you need a car to do any exploring.

Didn’t expect to be so close to airforce base planes taking off and landing until very late, restaurant’s menu could do with being in English and other languages as not everyone can understand French
