Expensive, given it's level of quality
Posted 2 Aug 2023 on HotelsExtremely noisy Mac wine outside my window. TV Chanels were mostly scrambled - not the hotels fault. It's over-priced for its quality, but then anything in Liberia used by overseas visitors will prove to be so. A similar hotel in the US would struggle to charge $75.

The property is excellent though street children come at the entrance ti beg for money and can be violent. Management needs to improve its security.

Pleasant, but expensive compared to other countrie
Posted 26 Feb 2023 on HotelsI've stayed at the Murex several times before so I knew anat to expect. First night my bathroom didn't smell fresh at all.. distinct smell of urine... but that was cleaned on request. Considering we are talking about Liberia, it's a good experience. Obviously it's way more expensive than a similar hotel elsewhere, so I assume that will change when there are more visitors to Liberia (?)

For Monrovia, a good choice.
Posted 4 Mar 2022 on HotelsFor Monrovia, this is a good hotel choice. Internet and TV proved to be intermittent, however, the management were quick to attempt to get things online again. The A.C. is welcome after a long day out in the heat.

Internet is very weak in the rooms. It can benefit from a little refurbishment
