"The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful."

"We stayed in one of their standard rooms which was cosy and beautifully clean. We had a candlelit dinner on the terrace and breakfast the next day, the food was excellent. We also made use of their pool area which was very serene. I would also like to mention that their staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay. "

"This was a fabulous choice as a stop over on our Dordogne adventure. Domonique was there to welcome us and show us around the property, which is surrounded by a wonderful garden in which grows his own produce and also a field of merlot grape vines to add to the ambience. The room was delightful, airy and quaint with lovely French decor. Oak beams, window shutters & all the modern facilities added to our experience. "The hosts were really accommodating and friendly, made us feel so welcome. Our flight was cancelled so we needed to find a place to stay, they made sure our stay was as relaxing as possible with two young children. The breakfast was amazing, highly recommend. Will be back thank you. "
