We enjoyed our stay. You definitely need a car to get there. As going anywhere is atleast 25 mins. Staff was friendly. Had a little mixup at breakfast but overall, it was a pleasant visit.

Peaceful place to stay
Posted 8 May 2016This is a good place to stay if you have your own car and want to explore the region. It is about 15 minutes drive to Monemvasio. Staff are very kind but have limited ability in English. The suites are large and comfortable if not luxurious; can easily accommodate 3-4 people with a pullout couch.

Rural hotel, facilities a bit limited

Pros: Room furnishings, balcony with view, dinner (on 1 night)
Cons: Staff presence, room facilities, more flexible breakfast
Location: Very rural, minimal interest in village area. Old Monemvasia 15 mins, numerous beaches within 1hr. Also petrified forest, various ancient sites.
We were only guests for most of stay, felt a bit isolated. Staff pleasant & helpful but normally only around at breakfast time. Restaurant did dinner only 1 night, otherwise had to drive some miles. Rooms new, air conditioned, well furnished and comfortable, but missing some equipment e.g. shower hook, kettle, some cutlery. Local olive oil and wine good. Some mosquitos.
