"Liked the beach. Liked the boardwalk for walking. Liked the policy re lounge chairs and their enforcement of the policy. Restaurant options were limited. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Auntie's Kitchen was rather mediocre. Duke's nearby was better. Would have like to know beforehand that units have washer/dryer as we would have packed less. "

"We loved having the beautiful green space to enjoy the water view. The condition of the room was not good. Some doors couldn't be locked. Some windows couldn't be opened. We communicated this to the person on staff. She never showed she was very interested in helping. A security guy was there and got involved. No AC so opening doors and windows was important. Person on staff both days we were there seemed to not care at all about our experience and needs. Wouldn't stay there again. "

"This property offers an outstanding value! While it is not ON the beach, it is so close you can walk there in one minute. The area beaches are all easily accessible and there are so many good little hidden food spots within walking distance. The upstairs room was big and offered a nice balcony with excellent views of the sunset and some of the ocean. There was a basic kitchen with all the utensils for cooking. Water in the shower had great pressure and was hot. The pool and leisure room...

"Very clean and friendly. The master bedroom having huge windows facing the ocean was a beautiful surprise. I would stay here again, however, the only thing missing, that would've made it a 5 star review, would be to add A/C to both bedrooms. It was very hot in the rooms at night. "

"Always love to stay at the Mahana! Only complaint is the resort fees. No maid service throughout our 11 nights. Since they have reduced the services, they should lower the fee. "

"Spacious and the most impressive views we have ever seen, we loved the condo, BUT we must report that the kitchen has a big cockroach problem and instead of placing 5 "roach motels" on kitchen floor, should be professionally sprayed! We know moisture attracts them but this was a bit much, all 3 AC units leak, the blinds look great but don't work well, lastly the remote controls are very challenging! But again, best views ever!!"

"I loved how nice and approachable the staff was and how earthy the resort is. There is only one restaurant on the resort but that’s fine because a short five minute walk down the beach takes you to a ton of them. "
