Posted 18 Jun 2019 on HotelsWhat a lovely place to stay - a real gem if you appreciate history, landscape and the environment. We received a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the dining room is glorious and breakfast time was a real treat talking to other guests. John also catered very considerately at breakfast time for my wife's gluten free requirements. With my interest in history this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. A real delight.
