"Everything about this motel was extraordinary. The best motel we have ever stayed in. The staff offered exceptional customer service. From those on front reception to the staff in the restaurant they were amazing. The accomodation was warm, secure and well furnished in a French style. The king bed so comfortable and the bonus was that it had an electric blanket. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The water pressure was excellent providing wonderful hot showers. Car parking was conveniently located directly outside accomodation door. We have always said NEVER eat in a motel restaurant. We changed our minds last evening for the interior was stylish and the food as good as you would receive at a top quality restaurant. In all our stay at the New England Motor Lodge was fabulous. This motel IS NOT part of a chain. A credit to the family who own and run it. Highly recommend a stay there for anyone visiting Glen Innis"

"The room was reasonably quiet. The staff were friendly. The room was very clean. Several basic items missing from room - plates, cutlery, tea towel, extra blankets - even though there was a microwave, fridge and toaster in the room. The bed also skated on the Lino floor each time I sat on it, which was a bit hazardous. The wheels on the beds need to sit in small coaster-cups. Apart from that, I was quite comfortable. "
