Unfortunately we’re informed that the restaurant was closed that evening which we would have preferred to know beforehand so we could have arranged something else. Room clean but a little on the small side. Hotel could do with a little updating but it looked as if that was in hand. Breakfast plentiful and good along with the service

Excellent stay, would highly recommend it. Live music in the bar in the evening, with a healthy top shelf of single malts. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, arranging an early morning breakfast for our start.

For a one night stopover it was adequate. Looks a bit tired in places. Staff friendly. Food good.
