I would like to say I am a fan of Van der valk but this hotel really ruined my impression of it because of the check in staff who was really inhospitable and unhelpful. I always enjoy my stays in Van der valk in the Netherlands but this was a bust.

Very nice service, lots of space to sit in the lounge, specious room, good breakfast, nice park behind hotel, easy and free car park with lots of space, Cons: no having air con, it was just way to hot, weird smell in the bathroom, mattress toppers kinda "sliding" from the mattress, perhaps too big for a bed size Overall would stay again but maybe in colder months

Time to renovate
It was a business trip, I had to stay 2 days. It was not my first stay but i think it will be my last one. I like your breakfast but the rooms need a renovation. The rooms are to dark and the bathroom are not Stade of the time. Sorry but your service team is good the rooms are not good enough.

Exceptional Stay at Van der Valk Hotel
My recent stay at Van der Valk was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and professional staff made me feel welcome. The room was spacious, modern, and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night. The bathroom was also immaculate and well-stocked with toiletries. The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was close to the Düsseldorf International Airport.
