Ok for a quick stop over. The sleeper trains ringing their horns all night was not good but not the hotels fault.

We were very disappointed in our room. It smelled when we walked in. I opened the curtains and it had mildew on the bottom of the window window frames. It was not as clean as I would have expected. We won’t be staying there again.

Staff was friendly and lobby was as inviting with many amenities.

I hate to write this review because we’ve always had a wonderful experience at the Double Tree. Our shower was filthy and the water was scalding. Someone could really get hurt with how high the temperature is allowed to get. Once we were able to get it to a safe temperature, we found that there was no shampoo or conditioner. The most unfortunate part was that I was there for a funeral and the neighbor had their TV at MAX volume that they couldn’t hear security knocking at their door repeatedly. We called again and they said security couldn’t hear anything from the hallway - simply not true. We were offered ear plugs but opted to leave instead. We were there all in all maybe an hour. I was already sad because of the funeral and this simply didn’t help.
