It was a delightful and very comfortable stay. It was well appointed and the amenities were well thought through. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The property was great. It had everything we needed to be self-sufficient. A short drive to Angaston provided great eateries and walks. It was great that the property is out of Angaston so it was a quiet location. We could have just stayed at the house for the entire time and disconnected from the world. Also the limited mobile phone reception was a bonus as we could escape from work, but still had the safety of the house phone, which is a cool period piece.

Vintage Country Stone Cottage of Memorabilia
Posted 30 May 2022 on HotelsEasy to find and good value for a Barossa Adventure. It is pretty much 12 - 30 minutes to everything. Generous supplies and everything you needed. Highlights were all the memorabilia and antiques, including the phone which rang on our last night! Guest experience would be enhanced in cooler weather by rotating the furniture to create seating in front of the fire. The cottage is better described as cosy or charming than luxury. It is like stepping back in time and staying at your great grandma's house. For me the flowery frilly fabric crafts were too much but overall our welcome was so generous. We loved it. PS you should advertise this property as free continental breakfast because the supplies were terrific, generous and unexpected. If the cobwebs and bugs are not your thing, or you don't want to fiddle with a quirky shower, i suggest you stay in a town.

Beautifully furnished, good location, peaceful, comfortable bed. Gravity fed shower is difficult to use

Thanks. It does take some getting used to. Our plumber is coming again after New Year to try and do something about it but not sure what more we can do. Kind Regards

To be taken back in time with the building and as to how items have been collected and put on show. Enjoyed, had all we needed, the welcoming feel the cottage gives you. Beds were lovely very comfy, the simple quiet with sounds of country. Will recommend and hope to stay again. Annette and Tony

Great character cottage! Everything was catered for - fridge, coffee machine, microwave, oven, washing machine, sitting areas, combustion heater, air con, free wifi and BBQ. We found the downstairs bed uncomfortable but that could just be our personal preferences. Would definitely recommend this place.
