"Beautiful house full of African historiy, the best is the staff, really nice people that helped us and treat us as home. Hillary and Mutiaza are amazing! The view from the house is Nairobi national park, very nice. The food was excellent, home made and delicious. We will come back!"

"We didn’t end up staying. The host was nowhere to be found. Finally our Uber driver reached her and half an hour later someone showed us to lead us to the apartment. It was a pit. We booked 3 bedrooms, but it had only 2 and not enough beds. I finally spoke directly to the host and asked her if she booked through hotels.com, and she said maybe…a long time ago. "I stay here all the time when I’m Nairobi. It is the only place I recommend. I only have one thing I would like to see changed and that is the strength of the internet and the television stations. That is the only disappointment. "

"Ibid Styles Nairobi remains a great value though the some changes are for the better - additional seating areas for the ground floor restaurant - and some are worse - enclosing all outdoor spaces that were previously open, such as the rooftop areas (why?) and even ones on the ground floor. The good: The beds are still comfortable enough though harder since I suspect they no longer use the Heavenly Mattress. The sheets are crisp and clean, the staff very attentive, the general decor of the rooms and public spaces make the hotel inviting. It appears that management does not pay attention to detail: There was water dripping from the ceiling in the main restaurant, the main floor men’s room could have someone fix fixtures, dings and bumps around the hotel, things that a walkthrough with a checklist would solve. Even though a painting and other maintenance is underway, rather than disguising materials as would be done in the rich economies, junk is easily seen on the mezzanine level. Why is a third-world standard being used? Stop letting the staff down."

"It was a wonderful stay. The staff were super friendly and professional, including the concierge folks and housekeeping. Notably, Joshua, Mary and Miriam, in the dining room room and John were amazing. Our room was rather small, but still very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the spa treatment as well and the dining breakfast options were amazing and I appreciate it that they had vegan options for myself. We will definitely come back for future trip trips. "

"Hotel accommodations were very clean and comfortable. There were a lot of little things added that made our stay extra enjoyable. The one thing I will say was that the location was not as close to the airport as I had anticipated and was on the road to Mombasa away from city Central."
