"There are 3 hotels in the Somerset group. This is away from the beach. Its up a very steep narrow concrete road. Its dark in the night and only 1 vehicle can go up or down this dark narrow road. The hotel staff are really nice. The rooms are a bit dated. The breakfast buffet was a joke as compared to hotels we have stayed in colombo. There was no buffet. Just a plate of fruit and eggs if you asked. Better stay is closer to the beach and somerset has a hotel right on tne beach"

Det känns som att det fattas något för att få en mer personlig touch och för att man ska trivas fullt ut. Frukostbuffén är okej, men inte mer än så. Gott om färsk frukt dock, vilket är en stor bonus. "Excellent location and beautiful pool, stayed in deluxe room and had no issues, wifi even worked in the room because we were so close to the pool. We were on half board so had are breakfasts and dinners there, buffet style nothing special just good food. The location can not be beat right on the beach in prime position "

"Overall, this hotel is very average. There were a few positive and negatives. I’ll start with the positives. After asking for water and toiletries, they were eventually provided.
